The Maldives
The Maldives are an archipelago of 1,190 coral islands
grouped into 26 coral atolls (200 inhabited islands, plus 80 islands with
tourist resorts) in the Indian Ocean. This immaculate tropical island
attracts tourists and visitors from all over the world with its yearlong
sunshine, palm trees, pristine white beaches, and turquoise lagoons – a
delightful place to just kick back and relax.
Honeymoon action is experienced in different flavors here. The serene clear waters make for great scuba diving while the coral islands have a fabulous fishing environment and excellent snorkeling options. There are also options galore for the less adventurous newly weds. Gazing at the exotic marine life in the reefs or simply walking on the soft white sand as the sun sets over the blue sea is a breathtaking and very fulfilling allure for couples. Other options include surfing, island hopping, seaplane tours, and visiting Malé – the capital of Maldives. Of course, you can also enjoy the many amenities at one of the luxurious and secluded resorts.
Some Maldives Hotels and Resorts that you may want to look into are the
